Job summary

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Council of Seattle-King County seeks a bilingual English/Spanish Case Manager to serve as a liaison across parishes in South King County and with community organizations, providing progressive case management and advocacy.

The role requires travel to various sites, occasional home visits, and collaboration with Centro Rendu and SVdP volunteers to connect families with housing, legal, health, and social services toward self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, pastoral skills, or related field; 4+ years of direct relevant work or volunteer experience.
• Master's in Social Work or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide progressive case management for individuals or families with multiple barriers.
• Coordinate with parishes and community organizations to address economic, legal, education and health needs.
• Promote social justice, equity and inclusion by connecting people to resources and opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and public benefits to maximize client access to services.
• Guide individuals through complex medical, legal, or social service frameworks.
• Support program outreach to inform the community about available services.
• Provide information, referrals, and advocacy to connect clients to services in a timely manner.
• Maintain client progress notes and case load reports for grants.
