Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy in Glendale, AZ seeks a Spanish Speaking Center-Based Behavior Technician to support children with autism through ABA therapy in a 1:1 and small group setting. The role requires RBT certification or completing a 40-hour training with exam within 45 days, and reliable transport if needed.

Pay range is $18–$24 per hour, negotiable based on experience, with full-time, in-center hours Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Benefits and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or be willing to complete 40 hour training and sit for RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment.
• 1:1 client setting under supervision of BCBA/BC
• Provide ABA therapy in a center-based setting
• In-center position with fixed hours and schedule
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test if not current

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition protocols and behavior reduction plans.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment plans.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation and data entry.
• Communicate progress with parents/caregivers as directed by the BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report incidents as required.
