Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy in Glendale, AZ seeks a Spanish-speaking Center-Based Behavior Technician to deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 and group setting under BCBA supervision. Requires RBT certification or commitment to complete training within 45 days. Pay range is $18–$24 per hour, based onexperience, education, and skills.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to participate in background checks.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation and potential driver's license/insurance.
• At least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid, TB test if needed.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Reliable, professional, patient with clients.
• Maintain emotional control and stay task-focused.
• Strong written and verbal communication; tech-savvy for data entry.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and openness.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care 1:1 and in group settings using teaching strategies.
• Follow behavioral protocols per client plan created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent/caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and accurately.
• Communicate progress with parents/caregivers as instructed.
