The Violence Intervention Program, Inc. (VIP) seeks a bilingual Social Worker to join the Special­ized Programs team in a Citywide Hybrid role.

You will provide trauma-informed counseling, advocacy, safety planning, and group support to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, with a focus on Latine communities. You will collaborate with colleagues and partners to improve access to services, deliver education, and contribute to outreach.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• LMSW or LMHC licensure or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Experience providing trauma-informed counseling to survivors of violence.
• Knowledge of CPT or other trauma-focused interventions preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide trauma-informed, strength-based individual counseling, advocacy, emotional support, and safety planning to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
• Co-facilitate trauma-focused support groups and use evidence-based interventions (e.g., CPT) as appropriate.
• Connect survivors with legal, mental health, parenting, bilingual, and other community resources through collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Provide community education and workshops and represent VIP at meetings, conferences, task forces, and public events.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and program data to support reporting and evaluation.
• Collaborate across VIP programs and multidisciplinary teams to strengthen services and ensure culturally responsive care.
