Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA) in Brooklyn is seeking a Social Worker who speaks Mandarin/Cantonese/Korean or Vietnamese, with a required MSW and strong communication skills. The role supports older adults and families in the Brooklyn Case Management Program, offering essential services and benefits access.

The position is full-time, in-person, with a 35-hour work week and a salary of $66,300 per year.

Qualificações

• Master of Social Work (MSW) is required.
• Fluency in English and one language: Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese.
• New York State LMSW credential is preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency with electronic case management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct client assessments in homes or the office and develop written case plans.
• Provide counseling and education to clients and families.
• Coordinate referrals to services such as transportation, meals, housing, and benefits.
• Monitor client needs and maintain timely case documentation.
• Supervise and mentor bachelor’s-level staff and interns as assigned.
