Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator in Washington, DC. The role monitors security, CCTV, and life safety systems and serves as liaison among security departments. You will document events and manage equipment in the Control Room, handling maintenance task orders and ensuring rapid response during incidents.

Full Time with open availability; compensation is $24.88 per hour. Bilingual English/Spanish required to communicate with site personnel and customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security, communications, and fire/life safety systems 24/7.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies; guide employees during incidents.
• Maintain documentation of events via shift reports and logs.
• Control equipment and keys in the Control Room.
• Complete task work orders for maintenance needs.
