Job summary

Kemira is seeking a Service Desk Agent for its Atlanta, GA (Galleria) office. You will provide first-line IT support to end-users, troubleshoot desktop/laptop issues, and escalate to 2nd tier as needed.

This hybrid role reports to the Team Lead and may include on-site duties and on-call rotation. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a service desk role, strong English, and either Spanish or Portuguese communication skills, plus a positive customer service attitude.

Qualifications

• Good English, Spanish and/or Portuguese communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for internal end-users and outsourcing providers.
• Record, analyze, categorize and prioritize incoming tickets.
• Provide first line support for common issues (password changes, VPN problems).
• Perform initial troubleshooting and investigate incidents.
• Assign tickets to appropriate teams per incident management.
• Ensure tickets are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
• Ensure ticket handling complies with Global Service Desk processes and targets.
• Communicate resolution progress to end-users.
