Metrocare Services seeks a bilingual Service Coordinator in Dallas to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in navigating medical, social, and educational supports. You will help clients access services and participate in the community, aiming for quality of life improvements.

Responsibilities include home visits, needs assessments, service explanations, documentation, and ongoing coordination with providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college/university.
• One year of experience working with Intellectual Developmental Disability Population.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Master's degree in preferred fields with 0 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Meets with developmental disability customers at their homes, listening to ascertain their needs and determine required services.
• Explains services to customers and makes recommendations based on their needs.
• Enters information into our computer system and coordinates services.
• Advocates for customers and arranges services with providers to meet goals.
• Assists during crises and links customers to preventive supports; acts as primary contact.
