Mayday Manufacturing Co in Denton, TX is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to lead daily HR operations, drive talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll support, and compliance, while partnering with leaders to shape the employee experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong communication, bilingual English/Spanish, 5+ years HR, and HRIS proficiency; you will implement benefits programs, onboarding, training, performance management, and HR policies to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience leading projects and driving HR initiatives from concept to completion.
• Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily HR operations and provide guidance, coaching, and support to employees, supervisors, and HR team members.
• Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, and terminations with proper documentation and compliance.
• Lead benefits and wellness initiatives by administering programs, coordinating open enrollment, educating employees, and driving participation.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding efforts, partnering with leadership to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
• Support payroll administration, HRIS management, employee records, reporting, and data accuracy.
• Administer and support HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave administration, training, performance management, engagement, recognition, and development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, EEO/AAP, policies, and training obligations.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies, handbook updates, and internal communications that support culture and change management.
• Build relationships with community partners and participate in outreach activities to support recruiting and employer branding.
• Stay current on HR trends and employment law updates while maintaining confidentiality of employee records.
• Participate in meetings and cross-functional projects, providing support across HR functions as needed.
