Qualifications

• RI School Nurse Teacher Certification is required.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) preferred.
• Commitment to equity and experience with diverse student populations.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to students daily and teach health education.
• Conduct school health services and provide first aid for students and staff.
• Administer medications and maintain health records and immunization reviews.
• Collaborate with families, health care providers and Charter School Physician.
• Coordinate health screenings (dental, hearing, vision, scoliosis) and health resources.
• Advise administration on health matters and support staff with health education.
