Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required for oral and written communication.
• High school graduation and experience in interpretation/translation required or considered.
• Some college coursework is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as bilingual liaison between school, home, and community.
• Interpret for meetings including conferences, IEP, discipline, and attendance.
• Plan and present parent education programs as directed.
• Refer families to community services for counseling, housing, employment, etc.
• Assist with applications, forms, and attending workshops; provide transportation if approved.
• Provide written translations for flyers, newsletters, emails, and communications.
• Perform related clerical duties to support programs.
