Job summary

Advocate Health Care seeks a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to coordinate behavioral health services for students in collaboration with Forsyth County schools. You will deliver direct clinical services, provide staff training, and connect families with community resources within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master’s in social work, psychology, or related field, NC licensure, and at least 3 years’ experience with children and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required by state licensure rules.
• 3+ years of clinical work with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
• Clinical licensure in North Carolina required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient, evidence-based mental health evaluation and individual and family counseling for students.
• Conduct mental health risk screenings using SHA protocols.
• Interpret evaluation findings and therapy progress to students and families.
• Develop treatment plans and assist in goal setting with students and guardians.
• Provide crisis interventions and participate in Area Crisis Response Team.
• Consult with teachers and staff about classroom management and behavioral services.
• Document mental health information in medical records per SHA policies.
• Coordinate referrals and services with school personnel and community resources.
