Job summary

Mountain Community Health Partnership is seeking a Behavioral Health Provider to deliver integrated behavioral health services in a school-based setting in Burnsville, NC. You will support Yancey County students and families through evidence-based practices, collaborating with schools and community agencies.

The role emphasizes cultural competency, teamwork, and making a tangible community impact in Western North Carolina. Licensure and travel to multiple locations are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or counseling and NC LCSW or LPC license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
• Experience with EHR systems and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnoses using clinical tools and interviews.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with students and families.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency services in collaboration with schools.
• Offer consultation to families, schools, and community agencies.
• Document visits and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in care team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development.
