Job summary

Northwell in New York is seeking a full-time Bilingual Registered Nurse Instructor to develop and expand our Chinese-speaking HHA and PCA Training Program. You will lead training, assess competencies, and ensure compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations for home care aides.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, an active NYS RN license, at least 2 years nursing and 1 year home care experience, and fluent English and Mandarin to support caregiver development within the community.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS RN license and BSN.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year home care experience.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese/Fuzhou dialects are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HHA/PCA training and orientation programs per NYS DOH regulations.
• Teach and evaluate trainees in classroom and skills settings.
• Maintain training records and competency evaluations.
• Participate in aide competency assessments and in-service education.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and training staff.
