Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care in Hicksville and Bay Shore, NY, seeks a bilingual Spanish RN HHA Instructor to lead training, in-services and competency evaluations for Home Care paraprofessionals in our office.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse licensed in New York State, with a BA in Nursing preferred and a commitment to high-quality patient care. This is a full-time, in-person role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• NYS license and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.

Responsibilities

• The instructor conducts training, in-services and competency evaluation programs for Home Care paraprofessionals in accordance with the New York State Department of Health.
• The instructor ensures that Home Care paraprofessionals are sufficiently knowledgeable and clinically competent to meet certification standards and tests trainees to evaluate effectiveness of training.
• The instructor reports on the progress of paraprofessionals under guidance during training periods.
