Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of managers, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes strong communication, team leadership, and adherence to policy across returns, invoicing, and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure staff follows sales programs.
• Oversee phone etiquette and timely processing of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders.
• Manage returns, exchanges, refunds, and merchandise invoicing per policy.
• Ensure proper scheduling, clock-in/out, opening/closing duties, and security procedures.
