Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Fountain Hills, AZ seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

Responsibilities include leading staff in customer service, overseeing sales programs, processing orders, returns, and invoicing, and performing opening/closing duties with secure money handling. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom through team execution of service programs.
• Answer the telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers and DC add orders as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds, and stage merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff follow posted schedules and clock in/out correctly.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including money handling and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
