Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in their absence and encourages bilingual candidates to apply.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include leading the team in customer service excellence, supervising showroom service levels, processing orders, handling returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts, is desirable.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge are a plus.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure compliance with service programs.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and ensure security and deposits are managed properly.
• Coordinate merchandising tasks and ensure schedule adherence.
• Assist with shift management in the absence of Store Manager.
