Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role can assume shift management when needed and emphasizes team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates with bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred) and a background in auto parts retail, automotive systems knowledge, and ASE certification will thrive and grow with our team in Coffeyville, KS.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers upon shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the electronic ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and stage returns properly.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
