Job summary

Pick Your Part in Anaheim, CA is seeking a customer-focused front counter associate to deliver high-quality in-person service to walk-in customers. You will handle sales, parts identification, and merchandising while maintaining displays and processing transactions.

Bilingual Spanish is required. Candidates should have strong customer service experience, effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background and effective communication.
• High School or GED equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Two to three years of prior customer service relations preferred.

Responsibilities

• In-Person Sales: Provide immediate, high-quality service to walk-in customers.
• Parts Identification: Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches.
• Sales: Process cash and credit transactions at the front counter.
• Yard Coordination: Coordinate with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers.
• Merchandising & Displays: Set up and maintain displays to drive impulse sales.
• Core & Returns Management: Inspect returned parts and process credits or warranty claims.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Description

Responsible for providing a superior customer service experience to all walk-in customers.

1. In-Person Sales: Provide immediate, high-quality service to all walk-in retail and wholesale customers.
2. Parts Identification: Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches for their vehicles with the vehicles on-site.
3. Sales: Actively manage the front counter area, processing cash and credit transactions using POS systems.
4. Yard Coordination: Communicate directly with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers that want the company to pull their parts for them
5. Merchandising & Displays: Set up and maintain physical displays of popular parts (e.g., batteries, fluids, tools) to drive impulse sales.
6. Core & Returns Management: Inspect physical parts returned by walk-in customers to verify condition and process credits or warranty claims
7. Bilingual Spanish is required
8. Assumes other duties as assigned

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• To perform this job this job successfully, an individual must have a strong customer service background.
