Job summary

Project Access is seeking an entry-level Resident Services Associate to support diverse programming at our Family Resource Center. You will assist with linking residents to community programs, plan enrichment activities for youth, and help deliver services across all ages in a multigenerational setting.

You will gain hands-on experience designing curriculum, coordinating classes, and performing outreach while developing strong community connections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required).
• One year experience in education, social services, or related nonprofit work.
• Experience serving diverse populations demonstrating cultural competency and community awareness.
• Intermediate skill level with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher) & Outlook.
• Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Strong communicator; high level of verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and current automobile insurance.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds with occasional heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Services Coordinator in linking residents with existing programs and services, facilitating access and referrals.
• Provide direct service for the After-School program: plan, organize, and implement curriculum; monitor progress.
• Provide translation and interpretation services.
• Assist staff in creating community building events.
• Assist with instruction of onsite classes, programs, after school tutoring, and other services.
• Conduct outreach to residents to promote participation.
• Distribute a monthly newsletter and fliers to promote activities onsite.
• Coordinate onsite activities and recruit new community-based organizations to provide services.
• Retrieve and maintain resident data reflecting service needs and referrals.
• Maintain resident attendance records for programs and events.
