Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Research Data Associate to support NIH MA-CEAL program studies within Infectious Diseases. The role involves coordinating study data, travel to sites, and contributing to data preparation and reporting.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish/English) with a background in healthcare research, strong organizational skills, and experience in data management and analysis. On-site Boston location with 40 hours/week schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a health-related field or statistics, although strong applicants from other fields may be considered.
• Interest in healthcare or public health research should be evident from education record.

Responsibilities

• Support development of reports, presentations, and data analyses.
• Assist in data collection and provide feedback on study progress.
• Recruit subjects using approved methodologies.
• Schedule participant appointments and follow-up communications.
• Obtain informed consent and enroll study participants as needed.
• Attend off-site data collection events, including evenings/weekends.
• Conduct qualitative interviews and ensure data collection quality.
• Support data entry and translation as required.
• Conduct literature searches and assist with manuscript preparation.
