Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build strong client relationships and provide financial guidance in a branch setting. You will assess customers’ needs, educate them on deposit and loan products, and process basic transactions while supporting sales goals.

The role requires NMLS registration compliance, opening accounts, and coordinating with team members to deliver a seamless customer experience at our California locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience
• Bilingual ability to read, write, and speak Armenian OR Spanish and English

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs
• Maintains knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and services
• Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions
• Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications
• Educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services
• Leverages resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy
