Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a bilingual Relationship Banker in California to build trusted client relationships through in-person, appointment, and virtual outreach. You will assess banking needs, explain deposit and loan products, and guide clients toward digital self‑service options.

You’ll open accounts, process requests, and coordinate with branch teams to deliver exceptional service. Applicants must read and write business‑level Spanish, and be prepared for NMLS registration under SAFÉ Act

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish language proficiency required for the role.
• Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically five or more years of retail banking experience.
• NMLS registration is required by SAFÉ Act regulations.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels.
• Opens new accounts, processes service requests, and submits credit applications.
• Educates clients on deposit, loan products and digital self-service tools.
• Collaborates with branch team members to deliver an excellent client experience.
• Maintains knowledge of banking policies, products, and support systems.
