Job summary

Stand Together's LIBRE Initiative in San Antonio seeks a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to identify, recruit, and mobilize local activists, organize community outreach, and drive policy reforms in Texas. You will lead canvassing, coordinate events, train volunteers, and manage part-time contractors while building relationships across diverse communities.

A valid driver's license and flexibility for evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Passion for people and ability to build relationships quickly.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes.
• Self-motivated with strong time-management skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple events and activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists and recruit them as local leaders in the Greater San Antonio area.
• Equip leaders with LIBRE training and resources to advocate for change.
• Organize events and engage the public through phone, social media, and in-person outreach.
• Maintain regular contact to keep activists motivated, educated, and active.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, ensuring compliance and best practices.
