Job summary

Stand Together seeks a writer to join the Grassroots Editorial Team and lead LIBRE’s editorial calendar and content in English and Spanish. You will craft blogs, emails, web content, and advocacy materials for diverse audiences across the country, translating complex policy ideas into accessible messages that drive action.

You’ll translate policy into culturally relevant narratives, collaborate with LIBRE partners, and support Stand Together’s related priorities like Americans for Prosperity,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional writing experience in advocacy/policy communications, or in journalism, nonprofit, or mission-driven communications with a strong policy/advocacy focus.
• Spanish-language writing ability is required, and experience writing for Hispanic audiences is preferred.
• Strong editorial judgment, accuracy, brevity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to connect daily writing tasks to larger communications strategies and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Write high-impact content, including emails, blogs, direct mail, reports, and event communications for grassroots advocates and donor audiences.
• Develop content that conveys Stand Together’s and AFP’s perspectives on key issues like elections, economy, health care, immigration, and government.
• Collaborate with a self-driven, entrepreneurial team to develop strategic content for initiatives with tight deadlines.
• Adapt to evolving priorities while maintaining clear communication with LIBRE and Stand Together partners.
