Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains is seeking an Employment Specialist to help refugees obtain employment in their new community. You will conduct initial assessments, create employment plans, provide pre-employment coaching, assist with job searches, and expand employer partnerships to sustain diverse opportunities.

• Associates degree or two years of college preferred; those with a HS diploma and two years of experience may be considered.
• Experience in refugee or human services is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Complete employment orientation and plan with refugee clients to set and achieve goals.
• Provide pre-employment skills training and job readiness coaching, including resume creation and interview practice.
• Coordinate referrals to supports such as childcare, transportation, or work clothing.
• Assist clients with job applications online and in person and support interview process.
• Maintain client records and progress notes to demonstrate outcomes and compliance.
• Follow up with employers to ensure successful employment outcomes.
