Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurances, managed care and IPA’s.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage authorizations for referrals from primary care providers to outside specialists and facilities.
• Facilitate receipt of consult notes and test results after referrals.
• Inform PCPs of delays or barriers to patient care.
• Serve as clinic liaison to outside agencies and partners.
• Report calls and logs to supervisor as needed.
• Coordinate and track imaging, voicemails, and incoming faxes.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and protect patient information.
