Muth Electric Inc, Mitchell, SD, is hiring a Bilingual Recruiter to drive talent acquisition for electricians, apprentices, and foremen. The role requires fluent English and Spanish, with responsibilities spanning recruitment, translation, onboarding, and candidate relationship management.

You will build a strong pipeline, partner with field leadership, and participate in job fairs and outreach to attract skilled trade professionals.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting electricians, construction trades or skilled trades is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple candidates.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Spanish translation and interpretation support across departments as needed, including Recruiting, HR, Safety, Operations, and field leadership.
• Assist with Spanish-language training (verbal & written), safety communications, onboarding, and other employee communications to ensure employees understand company expectations, procedures, and requirements.
• Translate company documents, policies, procedures, training materials, employee communications, and other materials into Spanish as needed.
• Step in as needed to provide translation assistance during sensitive and important employee discussions, including HR meetings, disciplinary conversations, termination discussions, manager meetings, safety communications, and employee relations matters.
• Recruit electricians, apprentices, electrical helpers, foremen, and other skilled electrical construction personnel.
• Conduct recruiting activities in both English and Spanish .
• Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified electrical candidates.
• Proactively source passive candidates through phone calls, text messages, social media, referrals, job boards, and networking.
• Build relationships with candidates and serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the recruiting process.
• Screen candidates for electrical experience, skills, work history, reliability, and cultural fit.
• Conduct phone and virtual interviews and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Clearly communicate job expectations, pay, benefits, schedules, locations, and career opportunities.
• Partner with field leadership and hiring managers to understand current and future manpower needs.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Develop employee referral and trade-networking relationships to increase candidate flow.
• Participate in job fairs, trade school outreach, community events, and other recruiting initiatives.
• Help develop recruiting strategies specifically targeted toward Spanish-speaking electrical professionals.
• Track recruiting metrics including applicants, interviews, hires, source effectiveness, and time-to-fill.
• Assist with pre-employment processes and onboarding coordination as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent in English and Spanish , both verbal and written.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting electricians, construction trades, manufacturing, industrial, or other skilled-trade positions strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of how to identify and evaluate skilled-trade talent.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making a high volume of recruiting calls and initiating conversations with candidates.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently while partnering closely with hiring managers and field leadership.
• Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office, social media, and recruiting platforms.
• Professional, persistent, competitive, and results-oriented.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive candidate information appropriately.
