Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a field-focused recruiter to source skilled tradespeople for critical utility projects. You will build authentic relationships at project sites, trade schools, and local communities to fuel rapid growth, communicating fluently in English and Spanish.

The role requires recruiting on the road, managing high-volume requisitions, and ensuring data integrity in the ATS while traveling to project sites and events across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience focused on construction skilled trades or field labor.
• Experience recruiting on the road and in the field, not relying solely on job postings.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Proven track record of high-volume recruiting and fast-turnaround requisitions.
• Ability to build trust with candidates outside traditional digital job boards.
• Proficiency with ATS and real-time data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Source skilled tradespeople for utility projects at field sites, trade schools, and communities.
• Build authentic relationships to fuel growth and fill field roles quickly.
• Recruit on the road and in the field to meet urgent staffing needs.
• Maintain data integrity in applicant tracking systems and report on pipeline.

This is a field-forward role where you will build authentic relationships at project sites, trade schools, and within local communities to fuel our extreme growth. Your ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish will make you a vital bridge between talent and opportunity in a limitless industry.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience focusing on construction skilled trades or field labor.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting on the road and in the field, without relying solely on passive applicants from job postings.
• Native-level or professional bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Proven track record of high-volume recruiting and managing fast-turnaround requisitions.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust with candidates outside of traditional digital job boards.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and a commitment to real-time data integrity.
• Reliable personal transportation for daily travel to project sites and community events throughout the region.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Prior recruiting experience specifically within utilities or heavy civil industries.
• Personal background or deep-rooted connections within the skilled trades community.
• Familiarity with I-9 compliance, E-Verify, and prevailing wage hiring requirements.
• Prior experience as a craft employee, heavy equipment operator and/or field supervisor.
