Job summary

Access Community Health Network is seeking a front desk professional to greet and assist patients, manage check-in, data collection, appointment scheduling, and payments. You will deliver patient-centered service and help improve community health outcomes.

Comprehensive training includes Epic EMR usage. Ideal candidates are bilingual in English and Spanish, with a high school diploma and prior front desk or customer service experience in health care.

Position Summary

• Serve as patients’ first point of contact and create a welcoming and supportive environment at the front desk.
• Guide patients through check-in, collect accurate data, schedule appointments, process payments, and ensure their visit is smooth and efficient.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to support ACCESS' patient-centered medical home model.
• Advance organizational goals to improve patient care and community health outcomes.
• Receive comprehensive training and hands‑on experience with Epic, one of the world's leading Electronic Medical Record systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency in computer skills
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
• CPR/Basic Life Support Certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• Receptionist experience in a health care setting
• Customer service experience
• Administrative experience
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems experience

The pay ranges provided represent the minimum to mid-range for positions. Actual compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including years of experience, educational background, market conditions, and available grant funding.
