Job summary

Access Community Health Network (ACCESS) is seeking a friendly front desk receptionist in Chicago to welcome patients, verify data, schedule appointments, and process payments with a patient-first approach. You will be trained on Epic EMR and contribute to efficient check-in flows.

The role supports ACCESS' mission to improve community health and requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma, and CPR/BLS certification. Evening and Saturday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and data entry capability.
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification required.

• Serve as patients' first point of contact and create a welcoming environment at the front desk.
• Guide patients through check-in, collect data, schedule appointments, process payments, and ensure smooth visits.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to support ACCESS' patient-centered medical home model.

• Receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience with Epic EMR.

Position Summary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency in computer skills
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
• CPR/Basic Life Support Certification

ACCESS is a Network of Federally Qualified Health Centers treating patients on the frontlines of community-based health care. The pay ranges provided represent the minimum to mid-range for positions. Actual compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including years of experience, educational background, market conditions, and available grant funding.
