Job summary

Access Community Health Network (ACCESS) seeks a Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients. You will guide check-in, data collection, appointment scheduling, and payments to ensure efficient visits.

The role supports ACCESS's patient-centered medical home model and health equity mission. Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to work some evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required or preferred.
• Basic computer skills to operate scheduling and billing software.
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patients’ first point of contact and create a welcoming environment at the front desk.
• Guide patients through check-in, collect data, schedule appointments, process payments, and ensure smooth visits.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to support a patient-centered medical home model.
• Advance organizational goals to improve patient care and community health outcomes.
• Receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience with the Epic EMR system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency in computer skills
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
• CPR/Basic Life Support Certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish

ACCESS is a Network of Federally Qualified Health Centers treating patients on the frontlines of community-based health care. The pay ranges provided represent the minimum to mid-range for positions. Actual compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including years of experience, educational background, market conditions, and available grant funding.
