Job summary
Children’s Specialized ABA is seeking a Bilingual Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with ASD. You’ll work with a BCBA and care team to deliver compassionate services, with training provided if not yet certified.
The role involves in-home and clinic-based sessions, travel within ~20 miles, and premium pay for after-hours sessions, including drive time between clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Reliable transportation (travel up to 20 miles).
- Physically able to perform job duties (kneeling, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs.).
- Any experience working with children is a great foundation!
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized therapy sessions in-home or clinic-based.
- Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans.
- Use electronic tools such as CentralReach to conduct preference assessments and track data.
- Collaborate in clinical meetings and receive ongoing feedback and supervision.
- Maintain program books and develop teaching materials.
- Communicate progress to parents and caregivers.
- Provide basic care (e.g., toileting, eating) as needed.
