Job summary

Schochet is seeking a Property Manager to oversee Taurus Fountain Hill Apartments, a 73-unit multi-family community in Roxbury, MA. You will supervise staff, maintain resident relations, and ensure financial and regulatory compliance, including HUD programs.

The role requires Spanish bilingualism, strong leadership, and experience in affordable housing property management. Knowledge of Section 8, COS/CPO, and ARM designation is preferred. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish is required.
• Previous experience in Property Management, particularly in affordable housing, is preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD programs, including Project-Based Section 8, COS or CPO, is a plus.
• ARM (Accredited Residential Manager) designation is preferred.
• Strong leadership and staff management abilities.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage property staff, providing training, performance feedback, and conducting annual performance reviews.
• Foster a positive and productive team environment and serve as a key contact for residents, vendors, and community members.
• Oversee rent calculations and collections, and handle notices for delinquent payments; manage subsidy collection and related issues.
• Oversee annual and interim resident recertifications and ensure compliance with HUD regulations and other federal/state policies.
• Coordinate and supervise compliance processes and ensure deadlines for recertifications are met.
• Support property operations to maintain financial and resident satisfaction targets at Taurus Fountain Hill Apartments.
