Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Project Engineer II to drive new product development for Hand Tools. You will lead cross-functional projects with teams in Mexico and LATAM, delivering innovative tools that improve efficiency and safety for end users, while balancing cost and schedule.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), 4+ years of experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% annually. Fluency in Spanish is preferred and DFMA knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or educational equivalent is required.
• Preferred degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to travel internationally & domestically up to 50% per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple small to medium scale engineering projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Marketing, Quality, Reliability, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Supply Chain in Mexico and LATAM.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and drive execution balancing cost, schedule, performance and risk.
• Monitor progress and provide monthly status updates to senior management.
• Visit manufacturing cells/suppliers to communicate and provide troubleshooting as needed.
• Apply DFMA, material selection, heat treatments, tolerance stacks, and root cause analysis to guide design and cost decisions.
