Job summary

Good Samaritan Family Resource Center in San Francisco seeks a Program Specialist to support Family Services programming under the supervision of the Service Coordination Manager. The role includes coordinating intake, enrollment, and referrals, and assisting with data collection and program administration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of relevant work experience
• Bilingual Spanish/English required (reading, writing, and speaking), bicultural preferred
• Experience with facilitation of workshops, classes and/or support groups
• Experience working with Latino immigrant population and understanding of immigrant issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and public relation/customer services skills
• Ability and willingness to work an irregular schedule and to travel to off-site locations in the community as needed
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, the Internet, data entry)
• Punctual, self-motivated and flexible
• Experience with Databases (CMS, GMS, Salesforce) and data entry
• Excellent writing skills including spelling and grammar (English and Spanish)
• Collaborative, team-oriented work style and ability to work effectively with diverse staff
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Child and youth friendly

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Family Services programming under supervision
• Facilitate in-person or virtual classes, workshops, and groups for families
• Pre-screen needs, provide information and referrals
• Enter enrollment data in Salesforce and CMS
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
