Job summary

Transpa in Connecticut seeks a Production Supervisor to act as the main link between floor personnel and management. You will schedule daily workflow, supervise activities, and partner with HR to hire, train, and coach employees, while ensuring safety and adherence to quality standards.

You will forecast staffing needs for peak demands, mentor staff, and coordinate with Quality and HR on overtime, vacations, and policy adherence. This role requires evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of manufacturing experience in related industries
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Ability to supervise and motivate direct reports; provide training and corrective action
• Proficient in MS Office; able to learn new software

Responsibilities

• Schedules daily workflow for employees and materials; manages Day Shift or Swing Shift expectations
• Supervises production activities and maintains visibility on the floor
• Forecasts staffing needs and staff accordingly; trains, coaches, and disciplines staff
• Maintains department standards for productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and accuracy
• Coordinates with quality control to maintain quality standards and take corrective actions
• Collaborates with HR and management on vacation approvals, overtime, and training
