Skill Requirements for Production Supervisor

1. Must possess effective coaching and leadership skills. Ability to motivate team members.
2. Ensure production lines are cleaned according to the Master Sanitation Schedule.
3. Understand customer service philosophy and procedures, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
4. Ability to read and write English (optional).
5. Knowledge of food security and food safety principles, including routines to prevent foodborne illness.
6. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards.
7. Proficient in using a keyboard, calculator, and telephone etiquette during shift.
8. G.E.D. or 3-6 months related experience or training; willing to train suitable candidates.
9. Ability to interpret Food Safety Policies, GMP policies, and company handbook.
10. Basic math skills: add, subtract, and divide whole numbers.
11. Ability to interpret instructions in various formats and work independently.
12. Self-motivated with good leadership skills and a positive attitude.
13. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
14. Work environment includes exposure to loud noise, salt, and odors.
