Job summary

3Z Brands is seeking a First and Second Shift Bilingual Production Supervisor for our Nashville facility. This role will rotate across production areas on 1st and 2nd shifts to learn processes and drive efficiency.

You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure safety and quality, coach staff, and collaborate with leadership to optimize manufacturing operations; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to coach, lead and manage multiple teams.
• History of safety.
• Expert knowledge of good manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

First and Second Shift Bilingual Production Supervisor 1st and 2nd shift

In preparation for the ongoing growth that will accompany the new factory 3Z Brands has aProduction Supervisorrole available.

The PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR immediately rotates through all areas of production with a keen focus to learn existing processes.

The PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR will then work to create efficiencies between productions areas with a focus on Core and Lamination. By evaluating exiting processes and participating in the manufacturing current state the PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR will enable efficiencies and improve production capability.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership teams to learn existing manufacturing processes, policies and plans
• Create efficiencies between all production areas operating on first shift
• Provide an assessment to the department manager identifying trends and opportunities as observed
• Motivate, support and provide guidance to production team members
• Ensure all safety and health standards are met to make certain production is accident-free
• Communicate regularly with production and plant manager regarding problems or issues impacting production.
• Evaluate machine and material resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
• Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
• Align efforts with achievement of attaining productivity goals
• Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality

Requirements:

• Must have 5+ manufacturing experience
• Able to coach, lead and effectively manage multiple teams
• Successful history of safety
• Expert knowledge of good manufacturing practices
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
