Qualifications

• 2 years of early childhood education experience preferred.
• AAS or AA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s permit required within six months.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe and respected.
• Plan and implement curriculum aligning with Head Start standards and developmental goals.
• Use play-based, hands-on activities to develop cognitive, social-emotional, and language skills.
• Support dual-language learners with English and Spanish experiences, adapting for learners with limited English.
• Attend to daily care needs and promote health and hygiene with compassion.
• Observe and assess progress, tailoring learning experiences accordingly.
• Collaborate with families through regular communication and parent conferences.
