Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities and implement Cadence Education programs, ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment that addresses the developmental needs of all children, including those with IEPs.

Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will greet families, help plan developmentally appropriate curriculum, and follow safety policies while engaging in ongoing professional development and team

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required if state licensing is met.
• Must meet minimum experience and education requirements for the state of employment.
• Credentials & Licensing: background clearances and health screenings required; CDA preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Support a positive, respectful classroom and treat each child with care.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs including following IEPs.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents as required.
• Assist with managing, documenting, and reporting escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development, which may occur outside regular hours.
