Job summary

Takeda’s donor center in Charlotte seeks a Donor Screener/Phlebotomist to support plasma collection. You will greet donors, screen them, record vitals, and use our information system to document and coordinate compensation. You’ll contribute to process improvements while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on rare occasions.
Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on their safety and service.
Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and maintain records.
Coordinate donor compensation and center documentation.
Identify operational improvements and support process changes per procedures.
Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
