Job summary

El Rio Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT services, including assessment, treatment planning, and documentation. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop individualized care plans.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Physical Therapy, AZ license, NPTE, BLS, and reliable transportation; experience in community health/outpatient settings is preferred. This on-site role offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
Requires NPTE and AZ license, BLS certification.
Fingerprints clearance card required or pending.
Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with physicians and care team to develop care plans.
Provide physical therapy services to patients.
Conduct skilled evaluations with impairment testing.
Assess strength, mobility, gait, range of motion and pain; select appropriate treatments.
Treat musculoskeletal injuries including back/neck pain, OA, tendinopathies.
Administer manual therapy, exercise therapy, posture training.
Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction to improve function.
Document patient progress and communicate with referring providers.
Counsel patients and families on treatments and home programs.
Maintain clinical area standards and infection control.
