Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 36 College Avenue, Nanuet, NY. The role involves blood collections, specimen handling, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service in aPatient Service Center orClient office.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 7am–3:30pm with one Saturday every other 7am–11:30am. Certification from an accredited agency is preferred; bilingual in Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
