Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Bilingual to join our Hackensack, NJ team. You will perform blood collection, handle specimens, and deliver exceptional patient service in a bilingual environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or phlebotomy certification and bilingual English/Spanish skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday with some Saturdays, and occasional travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or training completed.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
