Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Stony Point, NY. This role involves phlebotomy collection, data entry, and providing excellent patient service in a clinical setting.

Highlights include a Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturday coverage and opportunities to work at multiple sites. Phlebotomy certification or training is required, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
