Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist in Nanuet, NY at 36 College Avenue. Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collect samples for drug screens and tests, and enter patient data accurately. Provide excellent patient service and handle billing information as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, 6+ months phlebotomy experience, and Spanish bilingual ability. Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with every other Saturday 7:00am–11:30am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
