Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Alamo, CA, to join our team and perform skilled specimen collection and patient care. You will work in a patient service setting, delivering accurate data entry and exceptional service while supporting broader lab workflows.

The role offers weekday scheduling, with overtime as needed, and opportunities for growth within Labcorp. Prior phlebotomy experience and license in CA are preferred to ensure compliant patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid California State phlebotomy license required.
• 1+ month of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to additional sites if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
