Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 2700 Grant St., Suite 107, Concord, CA 94520. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional patient service, and support data entry and billing processes in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires a California Phlebotomy license and a High School Diploma or GED, with potential for travel to additional sites and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
